Identify The Situation
In many cases, you may be experiencing peer pressure without even knowing that it is happening. For example, if you have known someone for a long time, you may simply think that what they are doing is normal. In order to work on this, it is important that you identify the situation and what exactly is being pressured onto you. Don’t Blame Others
Keep in mind that no matter how much people pressure you to do drugs, no one is forcing you and no one is going to hold you down and make you do it. Therefore, you should be held accountable for your actions and not look to blame others for what you do. Looking to blame others is an excuse that will allow you to forgive your actions, which is counterintuitive to your goals of avoiding peer pressure.
Peer pressure can be something that is extremely hard to avoid. No matter the age, having to deal with other people’s actions, especially those that you are close with, can be a challenge.
